Hi, I’m Bibek, a software engineer with over 5 years of experience building scalable backend systems, cloud-native applications, and full-stack solutions. I’m currently based in Kathmandu, Nepal, working as a Senior Software Engineer at Tekkon Technologies, where I lead development efforts on global projects.
I’m passionate about system architecture, workflows, microservices, and cloud computing. As a backend-focused, language-agnostic software engineer, I prioritize delivering business value over specific programming languages or frameworks.
Consciously evolving #
I was born and raised in Nepal, where I’ve spent most of my life. I’ve had the opportunity to work with teams from Australia, the USA, Ukraine, Poland and Thailand, and this multicultural experience has greatly enriched my personal and professional growth. It has also enabled me to contribute to software systems of diverse scales, serving thousand of users with reliability and impact.
Day to day #
On a day-to-day basis, I primarily work with JavaScript (TypeScript/Node.js), Python with Django, and AWS to turn business requirements into robust, scalable, and resilient software solutions.
Why This blog? #
I've been blogging since 2022 as a way to document my learning journey, clarify complex topics, and occasionally share thoughts or technical rants. For me, blogging acts as a personal knowledge base—something I often revisit when I'm troubleshooting or exploring a concept I had worked on earlier. There’s a unique satisfaction in Googling a problem and landing on a blog post you wrote years ago—it’s a reminder of your own growth and continuity.
Beyond personal utility, one of the most rewarding aspects of blogging is hearing from readers. Several people have reached out saying they found a solution to their technical challenges through one of my posts, or that it helped them learn something new. That kind of feedback motivates me to keep sharing and gives my writing a deeper sense of purpose.
This mindset also drives my contributions to open source. Whether it's submitting pull requests, writing technical guides, or improving documentation, I see it as an extension of the same goal: to give back to the developer community and make knowledge more accessible.
